Learning Experiences We offer a variety of activities providing a wide range of learning experiences for up to 20 children in this light, airy room. There is easy access to the garden, and we have a role play corner, a book corner and a wet area. Varied Activities Mornings are more structured and include project work, sand and water play, cookery, a range of tabletop activities and Story Time. After lunch, less formal time is spent on movement and music, walks, singing, games and free play. Group time is included each day. The children do their own work displays for the bright and colourful walls of the room. Daily Records Daily records are kept for each child capturing the activities of the day. They are available for parents at home time. Personal Responsibility We start toilet training with the toddlers and when they are ready, the children are encouraged to use the toilet under supervision. They clean their teeth themselves and start to learn to be responsible for their own hygiene.
